Brewery Rodenbach Rodenbach is not just brewing art, it is much more ... It is also a unique story that begins in Andernach on the banks of the Rhine, whose Rodenbach family originates. In 1750, one of them, the surgeon Ferdinand Rodenbach, settled in Roeselare. His grandson Alexander bought a small brewery by David Norbert in Spaniard in 1820. Together with Amelia, Pedro and Ferdinand Rodenbach, he founded a company for 15 years, which was dissolved on February 1, 1836. On September 20, 1836, the brewery was purchased by Regina Wouters, wife of Pedro Rodenbach. She was succeeded later by Eduard and then Eugène Rodenbach, who mastered innovative brewing techniques in England. From then on, Rodenbach had an unbeatable rise and gained a cross-border reputation.
